About Our PROGRAM

Founded in 1999, Conestoga Youth Lacrosse (CYLAX) is dedicated to promoting educational, recreational, and competitive  lacrosse activities for elementary and middle school boys in the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District.

Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and supportive environment where young athletes can learn the game, develop their skills, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love of lacrosse. We emphasize individual growth, age- and skill-appropriate competition, and meaningful playing time for every player. Through an emphasis on fundamentals, sportsmanship, and continuous improvement, we strive to help each boy reach his full potential both on and off the field.

As players progress through our age-based divisions, our program gradually balances skill development with a greater emphasis on team performance and competitive play. Practices begin in early March, and the season runs through late May.

At CYLAX, we believe lacrosse is about more than winning games. It’s an opportunity to build character, develop discipline, strengthen teamwork, and learn resilience and leadership. Our program is powered by a dedicated community of volunteer coaches and families who share a commitment to helping every player grow, compete, and enjoy the game.
