SEASON INFO & SCHEDULES

GRADES 3-8

Team Placement

Following assessments, we typically have an "A" and "B" team in our 7th/8th Grade Division and one "A" and two "B" teams in our 3rd/4th and 5th/6th Grade Divisions.

Everyone makes a team; there are no cuts.

Competition

3rd-8th teams will play games in a competitive league run by the South Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Lacrosse Association (SEPLYA).

Practice

3rd-8th teams will practice twice a week; the practice schedule is determined by coach and field availability.

Games

Days and times of games vary.  There is typically 1 weekend game per week and occasional weeknight games.

Season Timeline

Practices will start in the beginning of March and the season will wrap up at the end of May.  There are possible playoffs for all divisions except for our 3rd/4th "B" teams.

Skills Assessment

Skills Assessment for Team Placement is TENTATIVELY scheduled for Saturday, January 30, 2027 afternoon/evening.  It will take place indoors at Berwyn Sports Club. (No cleats allowed on BSC's indoor turf!)

GRADES 1-2

Team Placement

There are no tryouts. We do our best to group players by school at this age and to keep teams balanced.  We cannot accommodate teammate or carpool requests.  Siblings will be assigned to the same team.

Competition

1st/2nd teams participate in our CYLAX house league and play games against each other.

Practice

1st/2nd teams will practice one night a week - Monday through Thursday.  Weeknight determined by coach preference and field availability.

Games

1st/2nd Division games take place on Friday evenings.  There are typically six games in a season.

Season Timeline

Practices will begin in late March, weather depending.  The last game will take place (and season will end) on Friday, May 21, 2027.

Location

All 1st/2nd team practices and games take place on Peco Field at Wilson Farm Park.
